Sickness' & Fun

Not much to catch up on. But last Saturday Kesley got RSV. Since she was a premie and had premature lung disease and used to have a problem with her heart we knew she would get RSV because babies with those problems especially have a much higher chance of getting it, but we didn't expect it to be this soon. She followed the normal tendencies of RSV was farely good the first 5 days then hit the peak and very sick for 2 days then is just now starting to feel a little better. We have been taking her to the doctor twice a day since last Saturday and will continue till no more mucus. On Thursday she started loosing her oxygen once in awhile and by Friday she had to be put back on her oxygen machine here at home, her monitor, 2 antibiotics; 1 for a ear infection 1 a steroid for her lungs to open up a little more and a nebulizer. She would have been hospitalized but because we have the equipment from before that was needed and because we have dealt with her oxygen before as well they let us keep care of her at our home. As long as we go get her suctioned out twice daily. As for Konner we had bought Disney on Ice tickets a month ago 4th row. Because Kesley was sick my mom offered to take him, as Jeremy and I needed to be here with her. He absolutely loved it. He talks about Mickey and Minnie and how cool they are. He can't wait to go to Disneyland which our family has planned since last October(then I got prego) now its this coming fall. Needless to say he loved it. And now can't wait for CarsLand. My mom said he sat there the entire time watching it without moving. Awesome!! Since I had purchased 4 tickets they took Susie my moms friend and daughter Sydney and Chloe her niece. Of course since Konner loves girls he loved the company of the girls as well. One more note for me. Konner has always been really finiky with foods, from smells to the textures and colors. He really only eats a select few foods. He always wants to try bananas since the age of 8 months old but he can never make him self. He gags when it hits his lips. At school they usually get a treat and Ms. Jamee says he'll usually try to try them but usually dont eat what he doesnt want to. At school they were talking about the letter "B" and she gave them peices of bananas. I am so glad he tried it and he did eat it. But a few minutes later he started throwing up, poor kid. Sorry Jamee! He now says to me "bananas are yucky and I hate them and won't eat them again". One last note. Jeremy's Uncle Mike died this past week. I just want to say how much we truly loved him. He was a great guy one who my husband admired and loved having in his life. One of our weekend rituals is going to Lowes on the weekends, we would always stop for a pop at 7-11 on our way back home, and mike would be there as well. Oh how we will miss that. He always called and checked on us especially our kids, and he never failed to check on our daughter. He was one of the first calls Jeremy received when we had Kesley. I can't explain how much that meant to Jeremy. He will be very much missed by our family.
