It's official Konner is 1 today, March 3rd. Did I ever think this day would come? Absolutely. Did I think it would come so fast? No. The only downfall to this day, is he is pretty sick. Daddy came down with influenza and so did Konner, but Konner also got strep throat with it. So we will be celebrating with our family's next week.
I remember being pregnant and very sick wishing and hoping for a healthy little boy. When Konner arrived he was perfect and healthy, it was dream for us to finally have him here in our family. The feeling in that room will never be forgotten and is so indescribable. What a special little boy he was and what an amazing last year we have had with him!
He is a perfect mixture of Mommy and Daddy! His smile will light up a room, his personality is so cute sometimes so outgoing and sometimes shy, with a little who cares attitude. His laugh is darling, and he loves to giggle. He loves the girls! He weighs 20lbs and 2 oz has brown hair, blue eyes, 3 teeth; 2 bottom, 1 top. He loves to play all day long and is on the go non-stop. He loves to go on car rides, loves apple juice, and his bottle. He loves snacks and would rather eat them instead of actual food. He is a picky eater and allergic to milk. He loves to kick around his soccer ball and bounce his basketball. He loves to stick out his tongue and make "farting" noises with it. He likes to watch Sponge Bob and Handy Manny. He loves to read and be read to. He says so many words and is so smart. He can figure out the solution to the problem before we can show him. Daddy says "he's going to work for NASA." He thinks he's a big boy already!
Time has flew by, but the moments we have been able to capture with him and spend with him will always be remembered. I will always say he was one of the hardest baby's to be born, and how much sickness, patience, effort, time, and hospital stays during those nine months of my pregnancy was all worth the end result or our precious baby boy. He is our,
"Sugar Baby" and "Little Man" and we are so proud of him and all of his first year accomplishments. We Love You Konner! Happy 1st Birthday!

ReplyDeleteNever fun to be sick on your birhtday. I want to see him sometime! Where is his 1st year picture? Mom says he is a cute and happy little man. Sounds like you have had a real fun year with him. It was worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya Colette
